Fold me up

February 10, 2014

I always wanted to be
One of those fold down to nothing girls
All arms and legs
Fold up like a travel alarm clock
Unburdened chest allowing
Chin on knees, cozy next to her heartbeat,
Thighs against ribs,
Making beautiful lines and curves
No matter my posture.
My architecture winning, lithe
And enduring.
But sadness on this round Irish face, wins no suitors.

  1. I find your words lovely but for some reason doubt that the fine Irish lass you are would have trouble atall finding a suitor.
