Agreed

February 27, 2014

We can’t…
Arms a tangle
Eyes blazing
Every molecule of each
Straining toward the other…
Then the divine
Interrupted…
Conscience parted our bodies…
Our souls had agreed
The more honorable
Of our makeup,
While flesh still raged,
Hungrily
lustfully
Lovingly
To
Devour each other
No remorse in sight
Guilt an extinct species,
But no…
…Dissolution
We concurred
In sad choir
There was no
Fight
Begging
Ploy
Or
Blame…
Which would
Have made parting
Less torment
…only humble agreement
To stay in touch…
Should circumstance
Or her kinder sister
Take a better turn for our paths
To chance a weaving together
For a beautiful
sensual
winding
Way.
