Hunger

March 4, 2014

Standing at the cupboard
Browsing a snack
Hunger came grousing
But I took a yawn
And then a stretch
Rolling my neck
Expanding my ribcage
I like feeling like an accordion
Ready to be played
Air infiltrates and hunger dissipates
Now
A kiss would be a perfect finish,
Rather than the afore imagined
Snack
The lie of hunger had me here hunting.
